Here's the dinner from the wet sand from a few days ago... yum!

For dinner today, I had a pizza. But not any pizza, German Potato Pizza. At the weekend (yesterday), I had a VERY FUN time at the sea. Went swimming in the ocean in a place called Watari, south of Sendai. Was the cleanest beach I've seen (and prob nicest) in Japan [i haven't been to that many, but still!]. Went there for a friend's b'day party. Had a good time with nice food (sand in the sandwiches, tacos and pasta salad); playing cricket in the smooth sand & swimming in the sea. Brilliant. During one conversation, we were mentioning the odd ways Japanese people do western food- like mixing carbohydrates, for example, they put potatoes in sandwiches (yes, you can buy potato salad sandwiches here), and on pizza. I hadn't seen potato pizza until i was in the supermarket earlier on today...

Unfortuately, I don't have any photos from the beach - couldn't find/ be bothered to hunt around for my camera which i later discovered at the bottom of my backpack. But if i steal some from a friend, i may put some up later, but may not!
