the wedding the other day was nice, but a bit hectic. i was at the campsite from 11am-8:30pm for set up/function/clear up. it was very nice to be involved. but i was quite tired, my body's still reminding me that i didn't sleep well for over a week, a few weeks ago. am posting some photos, but my camera battery is dying a painful death, so i don't have many decent ones anyway [tells me to 'change battery pack' as soon as i insert a
fully charged battery. hmm, had better buy a new one before i leave japan.]

Today I'm off work (a bit complicated but basically school's closed due to teachers working all weekend for a sports tournament. My school did so well that yesterday, classes were cancelled and we went to Grandy 21 and an older football pitch to cheer on basketball girls and football boys.) Quite a nice change from school, esp as i was gearing up to having no classes anyway. But possibly the highlight was having a lift to Grandy with the home ec teacher, and taking a detour to a new bakery en route. Not that the food there's that great, but a detour for shopping is always good!
I'm about to embark on a mystery tour this morning, with Mrs Chiba, my old Japanese tutor's Mum. Not quite sure where we're going, but departure time is in 15mins, argh, i'd better hurry up and eat my breakfast. All I know is we're going to the 海 sea and, I need to bring/ wear trousers and a shopping bag, and we'll do something sounding like hyohigari (i think gari means picking)- but the word isn't in the dictionary, so who knows, then we'll eat it for lunch. But I'm very confused. not long til i find out what's going on, i hope!
