don't read if you're coming on weds!
Hi, I've just been thinking of what to put in as forfeits for a 'pass the parcel' game this week. I'll do it with English corner (if people turn up -hopefully so... Last week, I was doing a bit of a speaking test preparation and had to turn some people away who were hoping for some cultural fun and games), and thought I might as well do it with friends too.
As I'm feeling lazy and don't have a notebook and pen to hand, I thought I'd jot down thoughts here. Hope you don't mind. [I guess it means you get an all rounded view of the life of Hannah over here.]
Students - stand on one leg and give your self introduction in English.
Say the alphabet backwards.
Sing the 'Pizza Hut' song.
Say 'She shells sea shells on the sea shore' three times, getting faster each time.
Friends- go round the circle and say what animal everyone looks like / or Winnie the Pooh character!
Eat some natto (disgusting Japanese food)... or marmite, which I have some of [i actually like it].
Stick your hand into a mystery food item and guess what it is (I cruelly did this with some students last year at the start of a 'food' lesson, i used pickled ginger).
Sing your country's national anthem.
any suggestions? please shout, preferably before or on Weds 22nd.
bye for now!
