It's so nearly almost over

I had my last ensoukai taiko performance today-hoorah! It was a mixture of complete boredom (all in all 6 and a half hours, involving 4 performances, lasting 50 minutes in total) - arrival, unloading, getting changed, hanging around, performing, hanging around, eating lunch, having a crepe for dessert, waiting, performing, etc, packing up, getting changed, going home. In the waiting around after lunch, we were (10 of us, mostly teenagers or small children) transfixed by someone's new mobile phone- featuring a mini but crystal clear TV screen. I also got to stand outside our 'changing room' and experience the venue a bit... Well, we were playing outside, but I stepped into Grandy 21 - otherwise known as Miyagi Stadium. The stadium built for the world cup 4 years ago. The guy took a photo from his phone & didn't manage to get the grass in, but you might get the idea a bit. I'm wearing my taiko uniform (which i gave back afterwards, 3 months after I first wore it), and a jacket on top. I say it's nearly over, because I was wearing a borrowed item of clothing that I've just had to wash. Will hand it back on Wednesday, then promptly leave before the practice starts and TV cameras arrive. - I'd much rather meet up with my (expat) friends, eat dinner and study Japanese in a coffee shop with them, my original plan that I'm sticking to for this Wednesday night!
