E-mail's back

I've now got e-mail access at school again, after a good few months without. Now I can check my yahoo and even hotmail. Not sure if it's a good thing or not really though. It was certainly a blessing in disguise to have had 2 months of trying to do more 'work' rather than just check e-mail, although it has subsequently led onto more timesonline reading.
When I went to thank the computer teacher for sorting it out for me, I inadvertantly arrived mid conversation with some students about ghosts. It turns out people have sighted a ghost on the 2nd floor (that's 1st floor to us Brits) of the school, supposedly a girl who graduated from here (seen late at night by the security man). I've never quite figured out what I think about ghosts: no doubt many people claim to have seen them & I enjoyed going on a ghost walking tour in London when I was at school; but there's something about seeing a vague image of a dead person that I just don't understand! Have any of you seen a ghost/ got any thoughts on the matter?
At least it made a change in conversation from 'how are you?', 'what is your name?' etc. ...

Can you imagine that an ex student would willingly return to their school after they are dead? Not likely. But maybe it's different in Japan. Though in a primary school not a million miles from where I taught, the ex head had to be banned from the building after persistently returning to chat to staff in the early morning. Now that really is scary behaviour!

My Gran swears she's seen her father twice since he died. Whenever she mentions it (which isn't often), I just keep quiet though because I don't know what to think!
This blog is so cool Han! It's the first time I've been on it but it's great.

Also, have you read the other books in the Lady's No. 1 Detective series? They're fantastic - I first came across the series in second year and have loved it ever since. There's 8 books at the moment (though he's still writing) and some of his other books are good too.

Hope you're well.
Love Beth

Hi, yeah, I've just started reading 'Morality for Beautiful Girls' (no 3). I read '44 Scotland Street' just before. I like the light hearted nature and like interesting moral undertones too! Botswana definitely makes a change from Edinburgh.
One of my favourite bits is in book 2 or 1?! When she sits outside her house in the evening, thinking that busy white people never have time just to sit and enjoy things in life. They always have to find something to worry about. I can def see what she means there!!
Hope the finals are going ok, not long to go now, x

hey, thanks for the heads up, Beth.
if you're in need of more revision avoidance, I've just registered on facebook.com . It's a crazy place where you can procrastinate for hours. Am sure your housemates have already told you about it tho!
take care x
