Do you only live twice?

I went sightseeing yesterday & saw the ultimate James Bond volcano. (Remember the film where the enemy base is situated beneath the fake green crater of a volcano, which opens up to give access to the offices lying beneath?) Except this one was real... En route, to the Okama crater in Zao, my friend & I drove through a town filled with bamboo trees.

if I were a watercolour painter, I'd try to capture the blue mountains in the distance [see right]... Our destination took us to a place where we were higher than the clouds [above left]. All in all, the journey would have probably taken us through the length of Britain with the time it took! But it was worth it.
